Can ANYONE else relate to that?!!  I know it is highly unusual, but Starion finds her wood toys to be her least favorite. She will chew anything before wood. If a toy has wood and other materials on it, she will only play with the non-wood parts. Maybe once a month or so she will chew a very small amount of wood, but even then it has to be pine... if it is hardwood forget it. 
In fact, my Eclectus and Red Bellied parrot aren't crazy about wood either! Gryffin the Eclectus likes wood a tiny bit more than the others, but even then, a wood toy will last her a VERY long time, and she prefers other materials. Robin has to have very small or thin wood before he's interested. I think I have weird parrots |

I was just wondering how you were going.
Apollo's isn't all that into wood either. he loves chewing plasticc or metal toys first before he goes for the wood part. He loves playing with leather too.
the two pinkies loves anything that their beaks can tear up, hence why wood is on their favourite list!!LOL |

Wow, so Apollo isn't too much into wood either? I wonder if it is just a Slender Billed thing? Probably not since the breeder told me they were. I guess it is just them  |
