| ? About my Aratinga Conure |
|
|
Hello! As some of you know, I recently got a Conure, who was plucking her belly , but since I've had her she has stopped ...I wanted to update on that.
On my search to learn more about Conures, I have another question
....Is there a special name for Conures who have red tipped shoulders? My "Baby" does....
PS...I'll be updating my diary soon with a page for each bird....They want their own special page.... lol They want equal people gawking time |

Sorry for the confusion My Conure has green wings with red feathers on his shoulders....I didn't know if that was common....since I'm new with Conures |

Each bird has its own colouration, I'm pretty sure your conure is a Jenday conure, and here are pictures of what they look like..

Each bird has a different colouration, like my conure has 1 yellow feather on his back, when most don't have that..
Maybe your conure is a hybrid? just a thought |

That was a nice picture site you showed me.... thanks for the information
I don't know much about Conures yet, but I'm learning fast. I just find every bird to be so facinating!
I figured out she likes to be scritched under each of her wings....I feel so honored ....I take it that it means she really trusts me! |
