I'm wondering if your conures chat more at bed time? Pico goes to his "bed" to take his naps too. Everytime he settles in to sleep, he sits and chatters himself to sleep. He "clicks and pops", kinda like when you cluck your tongue. And he immitates my giggle. So he'll sit there giggling and clicking and popping until he goes to sleep. It's the cutest thing ever!

At night, if I haven't covered him yet and he's ready, he'll say, "Bed time!". I'm a tax accountant, so this time of year he's having to remind me that I'm working in his bedroom, and he needs his rest. Very Happy

Napoleon is actually quiet at bed time. Some times he says "kiss kiss" so I give him a kiss g'nite. I always tell him to get ready for bed before I shut the lights out, then he quickly runs to his sleeping spot so I can shut the light out... hes so darn cute. I find his will talk even more on saturday mornings... not for sure why. but he will talk up a storm before I uncover him.

Sonnie has a hay-day at night....
making all sorts of weird grumbles and little muffled screams....
he argues with himself too.....especially if there is a box or something in his cage that he feels he needs to re-organize....
Laughing
I think he suffers from OCD.....
he has to have everything in perfect order.....
and he has to have at least one toy swinging at all times...
I think he's a little coocoo in the head...
Laughing
that's why I love him, he's juuuust like his momma Wink

LOL, he argues with himself. Laughing Too cute!

I wish Pico's chatter was more intelligible. I know Sun Conures aren't the greatest talkers, but he's chosing to interact with me more by imitating my laugh than anything. Which is VERY cute! But I do wish he'd learn more words. Neutral
