Hi I am new here and think that having forums like this is great! We bird owners are a rare breed ourselves. Most people do not understand our obsessions with our birdie babies.
At present I am looking for a black-capped conure. I live in Illinois so am hoping that I can find one in Georgia area as Delta First Pet flies directly to Peoria Airport. I am located about 7 minutes from that airport. Can anyone help?

No Sue, they are pyrrhura conures.
After a google search, here are some photos:

Thanks for telling me that. A friend of mine has two, I think? They're adorable! |

Hi Sami, I live in Australia, so I can't help you there, but good luck in your search for your new addition..
And yes you're right, we bird owners are of a rare breed ourselves. |
