I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I am a commercial photographer and I contribute regularly to several of the stock "banks" on the internet. My largest gallery is here:

One of the "catches" about being a contributing photographer is that the agencies usually keep the user/designers seperate from the photographers. I understand that. However, it is rare that a photographer finds how their photos are being used and can be frustrating.
I've been doing this for well over 2 years, and have never found a single image in use until now. The Animal Planet Cable TV Network has teamed up with a publisher to produce a Pet Care series and GUESS WHO IS ON THE COVER OF THE CONURE BOOK!

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! As soon as I get a hard copy in my hands, I will post a photo of CJ and his book! That is, of course, if he will stoop so low as to allow yet another photo - now that he's a big star, and all, he's got an attitude! LOL! |

 WOW!!!!  first of all, your photos are all STUNNING!!!  and oh my God, congrats to little CJ, how exciting for the both of you!!!  Of course I'm not surprised, who could resist that face, coupled with your amazing talent in photography??! Good for you! |

Thanks, Shirin! I've never had such a strongly positive response to my photography. If it's at all possible to be flying any higher after the news of the book, your comments have done the job! I hope that someday I can turn that into my livelihood!
Or course, with someone like CJ to photograph, it's easy to stay motivated!  |

That mommy and baby horse are hopefully my ticket to a foot in the door of equestrian photography. I live in Wellington, FL - which is a HUUUGE destination for dressage, polo and jumper at the international level. That baby was only 18 hours old when I first photographed him. Anyway, his Daddy is a world champion and I hope that by being able to photograph the baby, I might wind up possessing some valuable photos some day!
I got my copy of the book yesterday - CJ thought it was wonderful! Im going to do some shots of him AND the book, which I will, of course share! |

As an aside -the publisher has asked to see some of the mommy and baby horsies cause they have a horse book coming out in November! |
