Eat upsidedown? its weird. Sometimes Petrie will hang off the side of his cage above the food dish and eat. Its really cute. Just wondering, does anyone else's conure do this? Or is it just my silly bird?

Personlly I think they are all silly little things, but is that not one of the reason we like them so much.
Taz will do eat upside down like this most of the time, Try setting some SunnyD in a water dish ans sit back and watch...

Pico will taste upside down. If it meets his approval, he will come down and perch on the bowl to eat. Then hang upside down to drink from his water bottle. |

Yes! I was so happy to see him start using it. I still leave a bowl of water in there too, because he likes to bathe in it, on his own timing. |

How about dipping pellets in the water bowl? Hmm...maybe I should soak them a little for him. He'll perch on the water bowl, dipping a pellet; then go over to the water bottle to have a drink. |

I think my lil Sonnie lives upside down....
that bird will seriously spend as much time upside down as his brain can handle....he eats, drinks, and I've caught him napping once (hanging from the top of his cage!!!)
I think I got myself a little technicolor bat!!!!
but when the camera comes out...up goes his head... |

he loathes any camera with a firey passion!!!
if he even just sees it he starts screaming and freaking out.......so I have to be very sneaky........sometimes he'll be in a good mood and not do that, but most of the time he's just crazy mean to the poor camera! |
