Hi,
I was just wondering what you would do if you had fallen in love with another bird and you knew that the bird you have didi not like the new bird... Would you get it anyway???
Pi was caged next to Sugar (a conure) and they did not get on together.
What do you all think...

Depends on the question if they need to be friends or not.. 
If they should become friends, then probably I wouldn't adopt the new bird.
If not, then I'd think about time for them etc.. |

I think anytime you're thinking about getting a new bird it should be because you really want a new bird and can devote the time and money and energy for a new bird, not because you're hoping to get a new friend for your existing bird, because it's almost impossible to predict wether birds will get along or not.
If you have the time to divide between 2 birds, then I'd say go for it. Also keep in mind that Pi might become jealous and develope behaviour problems such as plucking. Would you be prepared to deal with that?

i want a cockateil but peachey would bully it and i need it to suit peachey i think it would be nice if i got 1 and they were friends and mum & dad dont like birds so they wouldnt let me get a 2nd bird |
