| I am SOOO frustrated with Sonnie!! |
|
|
I swear....he is getting worse and worse every day!!!
I just walked past his cage while he was on top of it...and he lunged at me and attacked the heck out of my sweater!!
it's like Jekyl and Hyde I swear!!
one day he's hanging upside down from my finger, taking treats out of my mouth ( ), and giving me kisses....the next...he's attacking me every chance he gets!
it's kind of upsetting! we were making such amazing progress! and now I can't even touch him.
I feel like I lost one of my best friends!
I hope he comes back to being my little Sonnie-Bird!!!!!

Yeah it sounds hormonal..and try not to get birds to take treats from your mouth, I think the saliva is bad for them.. |

I read through the thread...and I've come to the conclusion that Sonnie is a girl...
He...or she I guess sticks his/her little tail in the air and shakes it and makes little "bleeping" noises.......then bobs his/her head...then screeches.......I was guessing Sonnie was anywhere from 1 to 2 yrs old....
so is the sex drive in full blown attack right now??
and if so, does this mean he'll go back to being my loving kid again??? |

he doesn't actually take the treats from inside my mouth....I just hold them with my lips.......they are dry when I do that......
I figured it was bad for him, but it just shows the kind of trust we had for each other.....
now I'm having a really really hard time trusting him...and vice versa |
