Petrie's fave toys  Reply with quote

My little conure is quite happy now. He loves to wrestle with a toy elmo I gave him. He flings it across the cage! He also loves to sleep in his happy hut and play with his "ChimeTime" toy. He also wrestles his bells and screams (with the elmo he "talks" and screams). He will nibble the wooden beads on his rope swing. He will play with his wiffle ball and his walnut shells (which he now collects. He has 2 currently). He will "sing" along to cheekie's "Jukebox" toy. Cheekie never plays with it so I think I might give it to Petrie, if he likes it.

He has now introduced me to the playful world of conures, and they are very playful much like my budgie.

Thats funny, CB Amy (RLA), she is our happy wonder. She like to go exploring on the floor. Any way to keep her out of forbiddon areas of the house. We bought a danceing singing Elmo.... You push a button on it's foot and it will do a chicken song and dance... That worked for about two weeks. Now guess what.... She is not only unafride of it. She goes over and bites it's foot until it sings and dances for her. She will then parade around the room with her tail feathers flared out and eyes pined, until it stops, then she will do it again.
