they are SO beautiful!!!!
but because of the rareity of them, you have to
A. have a license to own them and
B. you have to breed them.....
what's funny is farmers in South America actually consider them agricultural pests!!!
but oh goodness what pretty birds!!!
the average price I've ever seen on just one is $1500 (pricey for a Conure )
plus the legal fees to get licensed....oh boy.... |

Yes They are a vey beauitful bird, There are a breeding pair at the National Avairy in PA. We were able to see them at a Distance

They are beautiful! Their yellow is just unbelievable! They're supposed to be super super mellow.
I like the smaller conures more though.  |

Really, I didn't know that. The ones I saw were about the size of a TAG, not much bigger...

they're that big, but them and the yellow eared conure are related to macaws, even tho they're little  |

I now remember seeing a breeding pair at a breeders house in Cinn, Oh. They were just as beautiful up close...

Is that the same as a Golden Conure If it is there is a pic of me holding one on my diary They sure are cute His name was Pedro and he was real friendly with the guy that worked there and would tolerate other people if they had food
