I just recently bought a new shower perch...and I got up the guts to try it out with Sonnie.......I didn't know how he'd react to the water and all the noise.....but he just LOVED it!! he didn't get all animated...yet...but I know he wanted to, could just see it in his eyes.....like "ooooh I want to get it all over!!! but I'm not quite sure yet"
afterwards, he was such a sweet bird! he just wanted to lay on my bed with me and cuddle and get scritches.....
it pretty much made me bawl tears of joy....
We have had a really rocky relationship...but I absolutely cherish the times when we can just snuggle without me losing chunks of skin.....
just wanted to thank everyone for your help when he was going through that "growing up stage" I don't think I would have done anything right with him with out y'all....so...THANKS!!!!

Re: Sonnies first *real* shower....
Wooohooooo! Great to hear that it was such a success.
Birds are usually more easy going (and quiet hehehe) when they're wet. Except for Scuttle.

Those hormones are something else! One day Pico is a little stinker; the next, he's all cuddly again. But somehow the stinker days outnumber the cuddly one!
