Souance conures?  Reply with quote

I was on loddelei.com and I saw photos of a "souance conure". This looked just like a fiery-shoulder but its beak was more greyish than a FSC's horn coloured beak. These are the pics of it: http://www.loddelei.com/solan.html

Are these conures some kind of subspecies or something? I haven't heard of FSCs having any subspecies...

What do you think?

They're subspecies of the pyrrhura melanura. (Maroon tailed) Their scientific name is Pyrrhura melanura souancei. Very Happy

thanks. I don't know much about maroon tails, but I know my FSC and that they have no subspecies...another thing I noticed was the wings..not as much colour as petrie has on it (you can see the conure with his wings spread in a pic)
