Thanks Kathy Smile

They are in a small apartment though, and Starion's new cage just about engulfs the entire living room. I've never been able to have a sofa in here either, because of the bird cages. We are moving to a bigger one next month Very Happy

Thanks Sveta Smile Her beak actually doesn't hurt as much as if it were normal shaped. She bites or picks things up in her beak from the tip. It is hard to explain, but it is not as powerful as if it was normal shaped, and it would take a lot more pressure than a normal beak would to draw blood. She doesn't really bite, but Slender Billed are beaky.

I enjoyed watching Starion's pics a lot. Peeking through is adorable. Heart Heart Heart I want a corella! *Stamps her foot on the floor* Laughing The big mouth pic is adorable too. Was she screaming?
Tell Gryff not to be jealous. She's beautiful too. Did you notice that her red fits the red on Starion? Laughing

Thanks Sue! Smile her big mouth was open cause she was afraid of the camera like she is most of the time. Starion is actually orange, and Gryffin is crimson red... I know it's hard to tell on pic though!

Hi Sue, Thanks!! Smile I haven't been around a lot either... just busy lately. Starion and the others are doing well, thanks for asking. No new pics yet, but when I get a chance - I know I'm due for some new ones. I hope you and your birdies are doing great too!

Climbing net  Reply with quote

Ooh, I love that! Would the larger one be big enough for my Umbrella? Do you know where I could order one?
Thank you!

They sell climbing nets online for every sized bird. Look for parrot toys. I'd list a great supply site owned by someone I know, but we aren't allowed to post other website addresses here. Just look online. The ones called "Get a Grip" nets by Starbird are good quality.

Hi! You mentioned you got Starion from a breeder in CA. Can you tell me which one? Point me to a webpage/give me a phone number/something? I'm trying to find a breeder for SB2s right now.

You can email me at ltdead@livejournal.com if you like!
