gardening's good
my Mum would have done the same

she'll most probably use it to plant her veggies and herbs!
hehe

land's much cheaper across the straits in malaysia and we have contemplated buying landed property there
but its just too much a hassle to cross international immigration on a daily basis for work and school

Hi Kalden! Thank you so much for the nice comment on my diary!

You know, I think we all strive to make our birds lives the best they can be. Otherwise, I guess, why would we be here. I wish I could give my birds the world, but I have to make do with I've got & they have to make do with what I can offer, huh? I can only hope I make them as happy as possible Very Happy

I hope things are going well for you & yours!

That is probably the funnest thing I've seen in a while. He is so beautiful. I read your posting when Xiao first came to you. Looks like he's really becoming a great companion.

Do you have any words of wisdom for a first time Ducorp mom?

Hi keison
thank you for your comment

I don't have much advice to offer you since I'm also a relatively new cockatoo caregiver. Smile

I guess the challenges of cockatoos would be to provide sufficient attention and interaction to these "love vampires" who thrives on attention but on the other hand, manage these interaction skilfully so they are not overly reliant on us for love.

A cockatoo who can play and enjoy himself/herself independently is a joy to behold.

Enjoy the relationship your ducorp and you will develop and deepens over the years to come!

All the best! Smile
