Surprised Cool wow, what great pictures you took of Kiivi. what kind of camera did you use? Kiivi has some really great toys and a fantastic play area. what more could a bird ask for Wink
the videos were fun to watch, liked when kiivi tried to get to the video cam.
how old is kiivi? he is a very beautiful senegal. Very Happy

I use olympus E-500 digital camera...

Kiivi should be about 10 months old or less, i don't know his birthday and even if he is a he ...since in Estonia larger parrots are not common especially senegals..I was lucky to have him as a baby...well he was 5 months old when I got him but since I didn't really interact with the owners of Kiwis parents i can only guess Kiwis precise age.. Sad

yes fionam that is my favourite photo also, i even signed that photo up for the beauty contest...I hope I wasn't too late.


Dear john and Carrie, well I learned everything myself, most important is to have a good light and a fairly good camera that takes high resolution pictures that are high quality, the rest is up to you and the parrot... Very Happy
But it always helps to learn a little bit about manual pohotgraphing(exsposure, aperture, focal length etc - the basics)..these automatic modes that digital cameras have do not always give the best results.
