Hi, how are you doing?

I just think you have to many eggs, I dont want to be mean or anything but you have to many eggs... are you sure you have a male and a female? At first sight I would tell that you have 2 females. There is an easy way to verify this... take one of the eggs to a drak room. Then with a strong hand lamp point it at the egg and if the egg is fertile you will see the embrio and some blood vesels, this means the eggs are fertile (male is present) if not you may have a problem.

Wish you luck, and please send me a PM or a comment on my homepage if u need further asistance.

Take care.

Oh my goodness! I can certainly see there are some changes going on with some of those eggs Shocked
I've never had experience with eggs before, so I don't know if the changes are for good or bad, but I would be inclined to think they're for the best, I sure hope so! I'm quited eggcited!!

How are you and Mesa doing. it looks like the eggs are coming along. 9 babies is alot for those two to take care of. You might want to get some hand feeding formual around. It would not go to waste. If things don't work out, you will have your hands full every two hours, and if they do then Mesa could stand the extra protiin from the hand feeding formual. It might be a go way to get extra vitims into her system as well. Just a suggestion.

You mean to tell me you had a baby at 2:30 and you didn't tell us....... Shocked Shocked , Very Happy

I know you are busy, and more then likly a lttle scared. I think you and Mesa will do fine. My only concern know is still Mesa's health. Watch her weight (if you can), 9 babies is such a burden on mom and dad. Again consider given Mesa some hand feeding formual. It can do nothing but good things at this point.

Take lots of pictures, they grow so quickly, you won't believe it, you go to bed and get up, and it is like you have a bunch of new birds they have grown so much. Oh and it wouldn't hurt to post some on fluffies, when you get around to it.

Oh, I think that's amazing & just wonderful that 1 of the eggs has hatched!! I'm sure there will soon be more little Mos Razz
Thank you so much for posting the picture & keeping us updated with the whole process! Like I said, I've never had any experience with eggs, so I always thoroughly enjoy keeping up with the process thru others!

This is their first clutch, right? Oh, I'm sure it will be quite a thrilling & awesome experience for you!
I'm wishing the happy little family all the luck in the world Very Happy

I'm SO sorry about Mo and Jo...Hopefully you can get at least one baby out of that clutch...I don't know anything about the whole baby bird thing, but maybe she's sad because she lost her little ones...I'm not sure, but I guess it could be......

I know how heart wrenching it must be for you & for Mesa & Cheeco. I sure hope it will go better the next clutch, if you decide to keep them together.
Just keep researching, as I know you've been doing!
