Hi Shelly
I'm so sorry to read about your beloved cockatiel. It is so sad when people think you cant tell the different between two birds! How sad for them as well i guess.
I am however so glad finally all this time, you've decided to get a little fid to keep you company. I've heard many good thing about parrotlet, and I'm sure that you're just gonna enjoy yours so much! The cage looks great. Is it stainless steel? It looks like stainless steel. If it is, you better off not powder coating it as it is best left like that that's all.
Good luck, and please keep us posted!! I for one would love to hear all about your little birdies when you get it.. and I'm sure other members would too.
Take care

Shelly, your story is so touching. I can't believe your friend tried to cover up your beloved cockatiels death by replacing it with another bird I would have been quite ticked off too. It shows how much love and compassion you have to offer, and I think your new baby parrotlet is going to be one lucky and spoiled fid |

What a cutie! I hope you can get a proper cage for her soon, that little hamster cage looks pretty small. It's nice to know such a sweetheart got a good home, I'd love to see a video of her doing those somersaults! (sp?) |

I love the little lovies! You and you're family must be lucky, winning 2 lovebirds in raffles!
I liked the cockatiel story, except for the part where your "friend" tried to replace your bird! Of course you would know it wasn't your mikey! |

That was a sad story about your little cockatiel. I'm glad to see you are back with birdies again and they are truly adorable. I wonder is your son still keeping up with taking care of his little feathered buddy? |
