Feather keep up the positive attitude. With hard work and presistence you can and will tame him down Smile I bet he's just dying for some cuddles, but is just nervous right now.

i have added more pages with squarkys progress on, and there is a video of me feeding squarky wheat-a-bix lol he wasnt sure about it, unfotunatly you can see a little bit of me in the big mirror Shocked

I just watched the video of you feeding Squarky. Do you see how he is slowly closing his eyes when he's eating? That's a huge sign of trust!

omg! is it realy?! im so happy Very Happy Very Happy i would have hand fed him but it would be a bit hard with mushy wheat-a-bix lol i realy thought that was a sign of tirednes lol

Oh, about the eye thing, I read in a book that if you look at your bird in profile, instead of directly, and slowly open and close your eyes, just like he's doing, it will put him at ease and build trust. See when you're looking at him in profile, you look like him, but looking directly might be intimidating because usually predators have their eyes in the front of their heads. Smile

im never going to give up not now i have seen the changes in him (and my family have!) and this is still early days so i know the big changes are still to come! yay Very Happy and its all thanks to this web site,well the people on it lol i have never found any helpfull stuff anywhere else. i lovvvee this site. thanks so much for helping me Very Happy
