Fun in the Sun '06

 We've had some unseasonably warm days this fall, with temps almost in the 80s last week!

it was overcast & raining very lightly that day, as you can see the water beaded on his feathers

I've not had Manus harness on him for a very long time, since we got his outdoor cage this spring.  He always seems very nervous with it on & doesn't seem to enjoy himself much. 

But this afternoon I decided to take him down to the park for a bit & he really seemed to enjoy his outing, tho I kept it pretty short this time

The temperatures have finally dropped to bearable again & hubby & I were able to spend a beautiful evening outside with the birds,
& I was able to get some good photos

These photos were taken on 5/9, when all 3 of the fids were outside in their cages

and this is my 5 year old grand daughter & her moms new 11 week old pomeranian

it's really absolutely adorable!  And the fids were just captivated by it running around the yard, LoL!
She's got 3 or 4 other poms at home already, & a little Yorke!

Manu isn't the only one that gets to have fun outside.
I've had Jennie out with me a few times too.
Here are some photos I took of her  today

Yes, her wings are clipped & everytime she has tried to fly, she just glides gently to the floor.

I tried putting her in Manus old outdoor cage, but the bar spacing is just too wide & she can stick her head right between them, which is very scary!
