Yahoo! We finally got a new outdoor cage for the Big Guy!

Manu really seems to be loving his new cage!
He's been making the greatest noises & has been exploring quite a bit!
Today I even left him out there while our next door neighbor mowed his front yard.
He got somewhat nervous & did his "nervous whistling", but didn't let loose with his "call of the wild" noise, which is just awful to hear!

It measures 5' L X 5' W X 6' H
No! Not for this Big Guy!
This is where we're planning to keep it. But we may have to move it onto the patio, further from the neighbors yard if he makes too much noise when they're outside
OK, so it's really a dog kennel, but 
, he doesn't need to know that. I think it'll work out just fine for him, once we get it furnished with some toys, food & water bowls, & something for him to perch on.
We've also got to get a large piece of plywood to cover it with & I have to get another lock for it, something I'm sure the grandkids & Manu can NOT get open!
My immediate concerns are that wild birds will be able to fly into it, thus there is the risk of Manu contracting something from them. And I may end up getting his wings clipped again, just IN CASE he somehow does get out.
I'm VERY excited to get him out in it! I just hope he enjoys it!

It worked out fine while it had to, but it was time to get him something bigger

His first time in his new cage!
He really seemed to love it!
I just used some things we had on hand to put in there for now, until I'm able to get stuff to keep out there for him

Spring has finally sprung & the weather's been awesome the past few days,
so hubby was finally able to get out & expand Manus aviary, doubling the size!
This is a full picture of it. You can see Manu inside on the left
We're looking very forward to spending lots more time out doors!
