More Jennie Photos

OK, so I've been a LEETLE camera happy since Jennies come to live with us   
But tell me, who could resist shots of this sweet little face

She's still in quarantine for 2 or 3 more weeks, but hey, who's counting!?  To tell the truth, I don't even know if you could even officially call it quarantine.  I've taken her downstairs now, where the other birds are, but I keep them apart & use good handwashing technique & pray she has no hidden disease the other fids could catch!  It was just so dark & gloomy & lonely upstairs for her, so I decided to put her downstairs on the main floor where she could get some sunlight!

She seems to really love it!

She's very active & playful & loves hanging out on top of her cage.

These were taken last night when she was playing with one of my grandkids building blocks

I have to tie the cage door open when she's outside of it, so the door don't shut on her, so I ended up tieing the block to the rope, now I don't have to keep fetching it from the floor when she drops it!

She's still very nippy tho, YOUCH!  I haven't been bitten lately tho, becuz I've finally wised up & don't offer her  "my fingers food" anymore!   But she does take treats from me very readily.  She'll step up on a wooden dowel real well, then I can put her on my arm & she's good, she just wont step up on my finger from her cage.  And I have started going through stepping excersises with her & she's doing pretty well, from her T-stand.
