Normally, the birds just don't have a lot of physical interaction with each other.
Manu & Jennies cages are close enough together that if Manu is positioned just right, Jennie can grasp ahold of her cage bars & lean out far enough to just barely get ahold of his tail feathers & that drives him nuts! She's SO ornery, she loves tormenting him like that!
But not to worry, they're always well supervised when out of their cages.
One nite last week, when Poppy the tiel was in the living room on the play stand, I decided to put Jennie on there with him.
Keep in mind that Jennie is young & somewhat agressive, whereas little Poppy is elderly & very passive. But, I was right there, very closely watching them.
They stayed this way, for quite a long time. Basically keeping to themselves, on different levels

But after awhile Jennie slowly worked her way up to Poppys level

... and finally had to go get ornery!

Just as I was about to intervene, Poppy, who is fully flighted, had had enough & flew off
to the safety of his Dads hand!
