Cheekie's Aventure!

My first diary entry! Yay! Sadly, we don't have any pics, but if there are some on the club site, we will put em here

Today, my mom took me on a trip. First off, we went to a bird display mom's bird club was putting on. There were:

Cockatoos (many mullocans, one umbie and a rose breasted)

A Hanh's Mini Macaw and A meyer's, Kuda,as well as a DYH amazon

three six week old timneh greys!!! My mom spend lots of time snuggleing them (bad mom, you are supposed to love me!)

A nanday and a Alexandrine

A male ekkie, Opal (opal's mom loved me, she likes little birds)

2 english budgies, 2 lovebirds, 2 quakers, a tiel and a white capped pionus

many canaries

The kids loved to pet me. I had fun, and the Rose breast, Angel, said "whats up?" a lot. The toos were cuddley and mom loved all the birds, she loved the baby greys and I had fun watching them, if you pet them they will close their little eyes! Mom thought they were the sweetest little things, but hey, if I had some pin feathers stickin' out here and there, and was fluffier, I could pull off that look, better than they can! We were right in front of People's Jeweller's, and they began to complain about the noise (but what do they know? An' us birds have them out numbered! So they better watch their backs!) We shared a bagel, Then it was time to go, so mom put me in my travel cage an' we went to look at PJ's Pet Center birds. In this window, there were babies, an' I saw a baby Senegal! as well as a jardine's, red belly, blue head pionus, and a jenday. We went into the store an' saw baby green cheeks, and tiels, budgies an' finches, an' a grey, a yellow thigh caique (It was labeled white bellied, but it ad black on its head, not enough for a black headed), a meyers. Mom went into a shoe store, (we bought nothing) and then we had to go to another mall for shopping. We went to a magazine store, an' then mom went into a bakery (I wasn't allowed in) .Many people saw me, and liked me. One guy talked to mom and said he used to have budgies and said that he liked birds.Mom stopped in the washroom to fill my water cup an' this woman there gave me a dirty look! We listened to some Newfoundland music, then mom headed to the Hart store. She said we had to lie low in this mall and not drawn much attention to ourselves, she said the security might not want pets in the mall. A store employee saw me, though, an' she liked me (I have that charm)! The cashier thought I was cute! Now it was time to leave, so mom an' I were walkin' to the door when a sercurity guard was there! He was nice and asked if I could talk(). So mom an' I went to the door only to see a thunder storm outside!!! So mom an' I ran to our car an' we didn't get too wet. On the way home mom an' I shared a bun from the bakery. 

I had a great time!
