This was a loon we saw last summer at a cottage we rented. We were on the canoe and he was displaying

This is the lake at the cottage.It was quite shallow then.

I remember at night I was on the dock and heard wolves, many many wolves, and I ran up the hill to the cottage and I tripped on some flower bed, (it wasn't too far wrecked! lol)
