My friend's birds and (some of) my birds

I took Cheekie and Petrie (not the budgies because they would be wayyy to much trouble, 2 is enough!) Anyhoo, she has 5 budgies now; Blueberry, Sprite, Pipp, Buttons and Prince. My birdies were pretty good and Cheekie even preened Prince! They all were happy and we went over to our other friend's house to visit her 2 budgies, Baby and Skyla, and her 2 finches.

But at our other friends house, Sprite fell and broke a blood feather!!  We grabbed him, and my friend gave her box of budgies (their carrier box) to our other friend to carry, and I carried petrie and cheekie in their travel cages, while my friend carried Sprite. Sprite was scared and flapped everywhere, causing blood to go everywhere, all over my friends sweater and her face. So we were running back to the house (only a like 2 houses down) and it looked like we murdered someone and stole their birds!!  LOL!! I mean if you saw three girls, with blood all over them, running down the street, first one with a box full of birds, next with 2 cages containing a bird each, and the third covered in blood holding onto a little budgie, what would you think? LOL!

Anyway, when we got back my friend posted a message on a budgie forum, and the members said to apply pressure, flour and Q-tips to the feather but first wash it off. So we took some pics, and I tried to wash him off in a birdie bath tub but he didn't like it so we ended up doing it in a sink and the feather fell out and it stopped bleeding. I got to keep the feather  and right now she's keeping him warm and hydrated.
