A road trip!

Hi! It's me..not my fids like you hoped..I know you like it better when they type, but they are in bed; "Parrots gotta get their beauty sleep!" they said. Anyhoo..

Today I went on a road trip to Burlington which is a city in Ontario, Canada to visit family. We took Cheekie and Petrie along! (fig isn't the best with car trips!) They liked the drive there and everyone lived! They got free range of the apartment for the first few hours, then we had to go out for lunch and here in Canada, sadly most restarunts don't allow pets. So they stayed in the traveling cages that were placed in a window so they could see out.

When we were out, I went to look in the "Super Pet" petstore because it is huge and has GREAT bird selection and staff. A blue and gold macaw named Miller lives there and he is very friendly and loves attention from all the shoppers. Of course I had to pet him through the cage bars. They had many budgies, tiels, lovies, finches and canaries, caiques, a baby goffins cockatoo, a ADORABLE severe macaw, alexandrine parakeets, lorikeet, baby female sennie, Green cheek conure, sun conure, dusky poinus, pearly conure, green cheeked amazon, Congo African Grey, and more!!! I talked to a woman who had a Nanday conure. I then looked at the fish and reptiles and left all the birds (I miss Miller and and the baby Severe especially)

When we got back the fids were very loud and wanted out (I don't blame them, poor little things!...) and they got out. My uncle got his fancy digital camera out and took pics and even videos!!!!! He needs to e-mail them to me so you have to wait a little bit. But they will come!! Do you want them with or without sound? lol, some of the people there didn't know there was sound and said some odd things! We do have some great action shots of Cheekie and Petrie running around on a table, and a spooky dark one of Cheekie! As well as many pics and other vids..you have to wait however!
