My Budgies....

The weather are fairly warm now, so I decided that it was time some of my inddor budgies moved outdoor into the aviary where they have more space to fly around.  Since they aren't tame, so this is best for them.  more space to hang out and fresh air everyday.

So on a day that it was warm outside (this was about a month ago), I made the move of moving ten indoor budgies outdoor into aviary.   in some cases, the budgies were returning to the aviary after a fight in the aviary, and I had to seperate some from the aviary, and one was injured in the fight so she had to recouparate before allowed back in with the rest of the bunch.

Well here are some pics that I took when I moved them into the aviary.

Soooo I shoved all ten of them into a carrier cage.....they weren't too happy about being so cramped up, but it was only for a couple of minutes so they had to deal with it until I released them into the aviary.

Daffy returning to the aviary after a 'time-out' after she fought with Kiwi for a patch on the ground for a nesting site...
she decided to take a snooze on familiar ground...

Meanwhile, Kiwi returning to the aviary after an injury rest (from Daffy's attack) away from the aviary...
She's lost some of her cere due to the the gash Daffy's attack inflicted... but it's the wound seems to have healed nicely.

Passion... Will always be Queen of the water dispenser... even with all the newcomers in the aviary

May be not... Cheeky is always the bossy one, she'll take any position she wants with force (but without injuries)...

Cheeky likes all the highest spots available, including this wine rack...
Poor newcomer Blondie has to settle for the next spot available on the rack...

Blondie decides that the big ladder is a better choice to hang out on....
oh and flying around the aviary is hard work..
