PINK DOLPHINS I visited the Santosa Island in Singapore a year ago (I promise there will be more pics to come, but I'm just too slack!!! LOL), and got to see these beautiful pink dolphins.
They are the Chinese White Dolphins or otherwise also known as the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins. They are born dark grey, then gradually looses the dark colour, and eventually becomes pinkish white as an adult. I got to see four of them in the Dolphin Lagoon on Santosa Island. They were simply stunning!! Here are the photos I took. I didn't take too many as they were much too fast for me and my camera!!! Young ones.. as you can see, they are just getting they pink colour...
This one is slightly older, therefore it has a lot more pink on him
Check out the underbelly and tail. :D so pink!
Isn't that cute ??
This guy is the oldest they had there. It has much more pink on him than the other three
Here he is leaping for the ball. :D This exercise was to show how high these dolphins can leap out of the water.
