WHO WANTS COTTON CANDY?????

Both Achilles and Athena are settling in well.
So far, they've woken me up at 8am, and asked to be put to bed at around 9pm everyday since they've come home....
I wonder how on time their internal clock is if I cover them up for the night, so I decided to give it a try.. Lets see how early they wake me up on a Saturday morning!

I'm still trying to sort out a some what normal 'routine' for these guys, but with our unpredictable lifestyle, I don't want them to settle down to one routine only. I want them to be able to adapt to any sudden changes that might occur, like me being called out to last minute program for work.

I've discovered today that beside almonds, these little pink fluffs likes to tuck into a peanut or two, and also a Pecan nut! Good thing is, I don't have to 'pre-crack' the nut for them either like I have to for Apollo.

Out of the two, Achilles is way more adventurous. So far, he has wondered off the cage and onto floor to get bits and pieces that they had dropped earlier, or just to check things out. He has also flown to Daddy to beg for a piece of wood or almond to chew on.
Athena is much more conservative, although prefering to stand on her cage top, she does accept treats (or just a stick/wood to chew on) from us readily, and what more surprising, she already gives kisses to us! How sweet is that?!?!?! I'll have to see if I can get a photo of her giving a kiss.. She is just such a doll!

On top of being adventurous, he's also very 'naughty'.
He likes to steal what Athena is chewing or eating.

Little did she know that Achilles will be back again in 30 seconds....

Well after much chewing, eating, chewing, playing and chewing later...
It's preening time... Oh how adorable they are all fluffed up!!!
Preening time is definitely one of my favourite moments spent watching them.
They are so very adorable preening together....
