Wild Cockatoos...

I dragged my hubby to the very cool Neil Hawkins Park on Thursday after a long while (I think it's been about a year since I last visited the park which is about 30 minutes drive from me).

I wasn't disappointed at all. There were plenty of bird life including a whole lot of Eastern Long billed corellas, galahs and the Australian Ringnecks.

Feeding off Daniel's arm...

Checking things out up in the safety of a tree before joining the rest of the flock on the ground for a feed.

This was one of my favourite shot of the cockatoo in the tree.
There was a light drizzle while I was there, so the cockatoos got a little wet.
In the shot you can see the water dropplets on the cockatoo. I love it. :D

They have no patience, a fight broke out between the three corellas soon after the pic was taken.

In the tree above, a baby is begging for food (on the right)....and in the left, you can see the mommy or daddy trying to regurgitate the food up for the begging beak.

This a really cool pigeon that was fighting amongst all the birds for some seeds...
I just love the colouring on it....
