~Iguana froze to almost death....Saved...~ This is a story of an iguana. One, that almost died because of the cold. Remember in florida, when the weather was 35 far.? This is that story. I was taking out my dog. Clat! I heard a claping sound, I looked at where I heard it from, there was a half-frozen iguana that fell from a palm tree. I looked to see if it was alive....It didn't move....wasn't standing the right way...eye lids closed. I was scared. I poked on the tail, it had opened its eyes! I ran inside to get a box, and a broom. I took the broom and moved the iguana inside the box. We left him inside the box for the whole day with water and lettuce (spinach is bad for them). He did not move the whole time until the next day! Then the third day, he was getting so alive and active! I was scared, we let it "walk" around the house if it wanted to. It was still too week to move fast. Then, the fourth day was even better. He got out of the box, jumped around to the window (look at image below), and started sticking out its tongue to bugs! Sunday, was the last day with him. We let him go, and took this picture:
So long, iguana!
