Yesterday I brought home my darling Kailani. She has been just a tad nippy, but I think it's only because she's nervous and is trying to be in charge. She's gotten much better since yesterday though! She's SUCH a smart bird. I love her so much. She demonstrated how smart she is and how well of a human-trainer she is today. She had been flying ontop of my computer a lot, and today she was looking especially thoughtful. She flew atop my computer once again, and immediately raised her foot while looking at me with those sweet little eyes. I blinked, and told her Up. She obliged, and then I put her back on her tree. She flew on top of the computer again, and once again raised her little foot. I knew instantly that she had figured out that every time she flies on top of my computer I pick her up. She wanted me to pick her up! So this time, I gave her head scritches before putting her back into her cage for her lunch. She is the smartest little thing!
