On this page, you can find some old photos of Flit & Zazu travelling by train.. *** Disclaimer & warning PLEASE READ *** Please note that one should be careful to take his or her birds on outdoor excursions. Wings should be clipped properly and in case of a smaller, lighter built birds, please ALWAYS use a harnass!
If you are not sure if your bird is considered light built, please ALWAYS use a harnass!
The birds on this website are thoroughly trained parrots. Some of the activities depicted could put smaller or/and untrained birds in jeopardy.
Also, my parrots are fed a very healthy, organic diet on normal days.
PLEASE only feed your parrot these unhealthy snacks on rare occasions and in VERY small amounts! On the photo below, Flit demonstrated that he fits just perfectly on the chairs in the train.
(Slightly too big, but Flit doesn’t notice!) 
Flit easily slides down and sits where normal people would put their arms.. 
On the next photo, Flit demonstrates his luggage. "I can easily carry this backpack, mom!" 
Zazu looks at his younger brother with a big smile.. This is a typical case of megalomania, Zazu thinks. 
On the photo below, Flit is trying to convince Zazu that he can handle everything.. Zazu just ignores his baby brother.. 
On the next photo, Flit & Zazu are quarreling.. Flit tells Zazu he’s big enough to carry his own backpack. Zazu tells Flit that a dozen Flits would fit perfectly in a backpack like that. 
Flit gets quite irritated and tries to pull Zazu’s leg. (Literally) 
On the final photo, you can see how Flit is being comforted by one of the passengers in the train..
