January         March ~First Quarter~ here's hoping 2008 is a smooth running year I don't plan on getting any more birds ... but you never know! I'm planning on updating my diary because Rio our baby Budgie will be still doing things for the first time & will no doubt keep us on our toes. January 1st - early morning here's my husband feeding the Pigeons - it's snowed for hours & still was snowing so the photos are grainy. Here's Rio in one of our Christmas Cacti. Both birds love them. Rio Updates 1) He only step-ups when it's bedtime or he's afraid. 2) He hates baths but he likes his saucer of 'wild water' - to drink & shake water from his beak. 3) He comes to me - sits on my shoulder to chat while looking for Laker. 4) Each morning he comes close to me & trembles his wings. -possible begging for treats or high excitement at the new day. Learning about noodles - but ignoring the greens.
