Dec 1st ~
It must be the very cold wind & the ice & snow storm for tonight - but i'm finally getting a bit Christmasey !

A very nice person sent me their bird carrier .
- their bird  would have nothing to do with it.
It must be for birds with weak beaks as my friend with the Senegal thought her bird would wreck the mesh.
you can see the ad for it here: http://www.naturechest.com/petpobica.html
This picture is from their website

The boys were being really cute today.
Rio dicovered noodles & sauce - a big hit.   Laker loves it.

The 2 of them were socializing a lot - I think they are becoming good friends & Laker is finally accepting having a Budgie pal.

New Projects

This play gym/perch is made with Grapevine branches & rawhide ties.
It is quite stable - however  I may take it apart & build something different.
It tends to be a bit big for the space we have but the boys like it.

Here they are playing on the new gym

We are having a seriously WHITE Christmas here!

The funny shape in the snow -upper right corner -
is the line of Pigeons my husband just fed.
Since this photo was taken we've had 2 more snow-falls.

& now for some humour

Another parrot board started a thread about
the most improved bird awards.
We each talked about our birds' growth in 2007.

& now for something completely different ...
