My first attempt at this on line and already the time is wrong. We are in South Florida and are 9 hours ahead of the time it says for us.

In February my husband and I were in a pet shop getting supplies for our ponds and this young employee was walking around with a small emerald green parrot on her shoulder. My husband has always wanted a parrot, so he starts talking to her about the ususal questions. She gave him all the answers,  the hatch date was in September of 2004, the baby was still being hand fed, it was a mini macaw, can be trained to "talk", not too loud, not too big, just right for us. Meanwhile, knowing my husband, I was checking out the cages available and gathering supplies, toys, books, and of course a CD on teaching your bird to mimic. A few thousand dollars later we were on our way home with "Bunky".
