Foster Bird!

Please meet PePe! I'm fostering him!

He's a 9 y/o Red-Lored Amazon

So far he is doing beautifully here!

You might notice that he's a feather chewer....I'm fostering him through a bird club I just joined.  He was taken from a neglecting and pontentially abusive environment and was placed with a lady who got him half-way tamed, and reached a stop sign....It was time to get him ready to be in a family. That's where I come in. 

He will most likely NOT be a permanent member of our family....but he is treated like one of my very own. I will be sad when he is adopted, but also very happy to have been apart of his journey. I do plan on fostering one or two birds at a time until it comes time for college. This way I get to experience all different species of birds in all different situations.
