Chongo has had a really good day.  I still feel kind of crummy from this cold, but I could play with him more a little today than yesterday.  I was gonna just take a nap around 4, but Kerry's bro came over, and we were both up.  I got a few things done till the NyQuil took me down.

I guess while I was asleep Chongo checked his brother out, and stepped up like a good bird and had all sorts of fun.  He also got to help Kerry clean the kitchen a little bit.  He wasn't nearly as bitey as he was yesterday.  More and more, I just don't know what that was.  We're thinking about calling the doc to get the low down on some of this.

He snuggled after I got out of the shower and we finished dinner, and then he snagged a piece of toilet paper from me.  The only thing he did bitey was worry at a mole on my ear and it bled a little.  When I said ouch, he made kissy noises at me though!  He really is gonna be a good bird.

The other thing I can't figure is what he has against stepping on a finger.  I can pull my sleeve over them, and he's fine.  He'll step up on a perch, and that's cool.  He'll step on to fingers only for nutriberries, and even then not always so willingly.  He has to really want that nutriberry first!

He was really content as the evening wound down to sit on his rope perch and watch me work at the sewing machine.  When I looked up, he was on one foot, and all puffed up, and his eyes kept slipping closed.  Now, though, since we put him home, he seems to have found his second wind playing with his green bell.  I can hear him out there entertaining himself.  He also found the mother-load.  A whole ROLL of paper towels, which he perched on top of and tore a pretty good section up on.

Maybe I was just being paranoid?  Maybe he didn't sleep good?  I guess we'll find out as time goes on.
