I started playing up from the second we left the breeders and Mum had to pull over and sort things out!! She’s been a total pushover, and I have her wrapped around my little claws!! Running ragged, it’s great!!
When I first got here, I had two cages. One for the night times and one to play in all day I also had my ‘time outs’ when I was able to play on the windowsill, table, settee and the floor! Here’s some photos of me!!

You should see photos showing my ‘day cage’ which is big enough for three Macaws! Mum said it should have a seed catcher around the base of it, but we haven’t enough room in the lounge!!!!! Ha ha!! Mum’s a real fuss-pot! Apparently, I have to have ‘Calcivet’, and obviously, cos it does ya good, it just don’t taste that good and I HAVE to have it, so Mum worked out a way to MAKE SURE I get it.
She gets my fruit, peels it, runs it under the water, then puts it into a hand-mincer. When it’s all mashed up, she adds two tablespoons of concentrated orange juice. Then she spoons the mixture into an ice-cube tray. Then it's frozen. THIS IS MY DAY CAGE TOP MIDDLE BOTTOM
BIG…...INNIT? It measures around seven foot high, six foot wide and five foot depth!! GREAT!!
If you look at the ‘middle’ picture, that’s me on my perch, looking all innocent like, which Mum insists I’m not, ha ha!! In the ‘top’ one, look carefully, you can just about catch me ‘having a chuckle' In the ‘bottom’ one, I'm halfway down to get that cat….
When Mummy washes my cage, she throws me out of it, and gets right on in there instead of me... which is always a giggle .... because she’s not a small lady, by any means!!!!!!!!!
