Quick....

Come 'ere and 'ave a look.......

GEORGE LOSES HIS RAG

I am the very proud owner of an African Grey Parrot called GEORGE. He is hand-reared and        came to me as a 12week old. I never imagined I had the capability to love something as much as            I have grown to love him. At just 15weeks, he already had an incredible sense of humour, and an attitude that would try the patience of a Saint. Though he's a real darling, he is already capable of 'losing his rag!'  Specially when someone touches any of his toys, even tho' he's not even playing with them at the time!!   It's a bit like having a naughty toddler around the house. If he doesn't get          his own way, or I have to put him in the cage for any reason,  he throws his fruit/veg and seeds   around the cage and has a scrap with this reflection in his water bowl...   By the time he is finished,      it looks like Saddam has launched WW3 from inside there and I have the job of clearing it up.           He gets out whilst I'm doing it and I dont get anything done.....                                                          What a crafty little blighter I've got myself!!!      He's funny when he thinks he's done  something wrong  (wouldn't you think if they know it's wrong WHY do it? ..  but he hasn't mastered how to    think like that, yet!)  He puts his head down in front of him  to let you know where to tickle him!!       And if he thinks you are annoyed with him   (like when I've put him in his cage for any reason)              he keeps whistling at you till you  whistle back to him....that's OK.    But let you make the first move and he deliberately ignores it. You get upset and think you made him really unhappy.  You wonder how. You get very upset, and question Why?...

Little blighter! Got you well and truly sussed!!   He's laughing like a drain inside!!!    Before I used          to go up to him and ask him for a kiss.  Now I just say 'Alright have it your way!...'   Then I carry on with what I'm doing, and before two minutes  have  passed,  he's  whistling!!    This  is  what  I  call             'BEING THE BOSS!!'    Not an easy thing to do when you've  a  cute  feather  bundle      who has the same idea!!

But  having  said  all  that,   I  wouldn't  swap  him,   Not  even  for  the  largest  lottery  win......

Sshhhh..... Not too loud with the comments......What d'you think.......   I'm never gonna get upset        again if she tells me off for anything....... Not now I know...... just how much she loves me......

You can tell too... Can't you?

But Ssshhhh cos I dont want her to know I been snooping through the papers......

SO..... MUM'S  THE  WORD......OK?   SSSSSSssssssshhhhhhhhhh  HUSH HUSH  HUSH  HUSH
