Carly Flies the Big Sky Country

Northeastern Wyoming, June 2007

Carly, a 2 1/2 year old African Grey, never learned to fly as a baby.
 Before fledging, 10 of her flight feathers on each side were clipped. 
For the last 10 months she has been in learning to fly and training for outdoor recall.

This month we took a vacation together in Wyoming, where we met other friends from around
the country who also do outdoor flight training with their parrots.
