Well, Diary dear, I promised I would finish all my updates - so here I am again.

OK, so I did mention ALL the other birdies, right?  First, there was that little yellow thingie that Daddy brought home.  They call him "Budgie" - silly name - and Daddy filled Mommy's head with some kind of nonsense about how the birdie just flew in to where Daddy works and was real happy to step up on Daddy and come home with him.  Daddy also said that "Budgie" was very hungry and that was why he came home so easily.  I believe that part, because he didn't stop eating for HOURS and HOURS that first night.

Well, then, that little yellow thingie called "Budgie" was awfully curious about me!  Not that I could blame him, I mean, who wouldn't be curious about me????  But, naturally, I have my own space that I keep for myself and really didn't want this pesky little.......budgie (do you know, Diary, that "budgie" is from an Aborigine word that means "snack"? I sure do believe that because that's about how big he is!)......to crawl all over me kissin and preenin and doing all kinds of stuff I prefer to do myself.  So guess what Mommy and Daddy did!?  THEY GOT ANOTHER LITTLE ONE!  This was a little green thingie - well, some yellow and some black, but mostly green.  They named her Sheila and I sure felt sorry for her that first day.  Budgie would NOT leave her be.  I felt like telling him "GIVE THE POOR GIRL SOME SPACE, WILL YA FELLA?)  But, I don't think he would have listened - he was so happy to have a playmate, and I was happy for him.  Now I could go on with my own life.

Well, Mommy and Daddy know some other people that come over sometimes - they are smaller people and the furry stuff on top of their heads is all white - Mommy and Daddy call them Mom and Dad, so I guess that means they are my grandparronts.  Well, they thought we were all so fine (I'm sure most of that was for me, but they are very nice people and don't like to leave anyone out) that they would spend all their time just talking to us and making kissie noises.  Mommy and Daddy thought they were being so clever, but I knew that the next 2 birdies that arrived would not stay long. and I was right.  HAH!  I KNEW it!  They went home with the Grandparronts, who named them Happy and Cupcake. 

So, I don't want to use up Mommy's fingers all in one page, so I'll have to come back again to tell you about the arrival of Sigmund and the return of Happy and Cupcake!
