SHARKEY GOES MISSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sister's conure Sharkey flew out of the house Monday evening. He got spooked when my sister was bringing a wheelchair into the house and while the door was open, out he flew. He was up high in a tree in the alley behind the house. She sat outside under the tree with his cage and kept calling for him to come down. A neighbor tried to reach him by ladder and using a hose to spray him with water but he was too high up. This morning when she went out to see if he was still there, a car backfired in the alley scaring him and he flew off farther down the alley. My sister lost sight of him. She tried calling for him but there was no answer. She had Sharkey for 20 years, he wasn't a friendly bird, he didn't trust people or their hands. My sister was the third home Sharkey lived in. I just hope somebody finds him and takes him in. I fear he will die outside not knowing where to find food or water and he knows nothing of predators. I have tol my sister many times to get him to the vet and have his wings clipped. Just because a bird hasn't flown off in 20yrs doesn't mean he wouldn't.                                                 

Sharkey I hope and pray that someone finds you and takes you in. Also if you are found that you are brought home safe and sound. My sister is putting an add in the local newspaper here in Joliet,Ill.                                 

Sharkey is a white eyed conure, all green, darker on the back and wings, brighter on the belly.
