This is Kacey when she still had her collar on so her wing would heal.

This is where Kacey had to sleep for about 6 weeks. She couldn't get around her cage with the collar on and we didn't want her to fall in her cage and injur her wing again.

Here's a pic showing Kacey's right wing all healed. Her feathers still aren't right yet. We have to keep the first primary feather clipped because it drags along the floor since the wing hangs lower and it bothers Kacey. We otherwise donot have to clip her wings since she will never be able to fly.

Here is Kacey now in her cage once again. We raised the floor of the cage and lowered her perches for now. When she is much stronger and we are sure she won't fall, we may raise the perches for her. For now we want her to be safe. She is sleeping better in her cage.

You can see in this pic how we created a new floor for her cage and perches lowered and ladders added for her to safely get around in her cage. We are loosing the top 8 inches and the bottom 6 inches of the cage. When she becomes more adept in her cage we may start with raising the perches first for her. For now this is the cage setup.
