Merlin's first shower

Today Merlin and I played some more. He still won't step-up out of his cage, but is doing much better today and yesterday with stepping up elsewhere. He now rides on my arm as well... I had a tense moment when he climbed up onto my shoulder, but I just leaned forward and he moved onto the shelf by the mirror. He likes to play with his reflexion! He also has his first shower in the real shower, on his makeshift shower perch. We both enjoyed it and he let me stroke his back with my hand. Wathing me towel off makes him much less nervous about the towel touching him too. So things are going well. He won't stand on my bare hand yet, but will perch on my arm and wrist. He seemed to like my bathrobe, and was much less afraid of the towel after he saw me in the robe.
