PART II While we were sitting on the pavement, we drew some attention of the guests sitting inside. They had some sort of party, I believe it was a wedding looking at the corsages.. :-) Children came outside to look at both Iago and Zazu.. Iago quicly befriended some children.. He was quite willing to step up (as usual) and to receive head scratches.
In no time, it became quite crowded with children. Iago didn’t care, the more people the better! They meant more head scratches and attention for him.
Iago ’travelled’ from one arm to another..
And was petted by all the curious children.. I was asked many questions, if they wouldn’t fly away, if we took them everywhere, if they could talk and much more!
Then the bridegroom came outside, I guess he wanted to meet Iago too.. :-) Iago behaved perfectly and he didn’t poop on his suit.. (He does this sometimes!)
After dinner (which took quite long, we could hardly eat with all the people that were swarming around our table) we went for a second walk through the woods. It had become quite dark and we missed a turn I guess, so we got lost. :-( Fortunately, Zazu behaved very well by not biting my fingers. (He usually does that when it’s too dark for him, I guess he is a bit afraid? Or trying to hold himself to something?) He behaved like a little angel, I guess he must have felt that I was a bit scared not to find the car anymore. I was able to take some nice photos of Zazu, here’s one.. It looks kind of ghostly, with those strange looking branches & leaves, don’t you think so?
Nenya though, didn’t care at all. She was having lots of fun running around and digging..
Luckily, we found the car after walking around for some time. The next day Iago & Zazu were extremely quiet. They played very gently, ate their food without making much noise and Zazu didn’t even scream!! I guess they were still tired of the trip.. :-) At home we ate some mussels, and Zazu insisted on having his share.. Zazu stole the mussel he is holding on the picture below. He already had been given a piece.. (It’s the dirty yellow stuff under the foot he’s holding the other mussel with!)
