I have just recently been trying to decide on getting another addition to my flock!! :] She is a 7 month old african red belly at the store i work at.  Its very strange though, she sort of picked me. When ever im around, she calls out to me, 'come here!!' and 'hi there!!!' its soooo cute! When anyone else, ANYONE, tries to pick her up, she bites and flies to the ground and RUNS away. But when im sneaking up behind her, she lets me pet her on the head. When a woman who comes in alot to visit another bird tries to pet her, she flies away. We sware she has eyes in the back of her head. Another thing, when i don't work, i've been told that she wont come out of her cage for anyone. hmmmm......WELL!!! let me know what you guys think :]:]:]

Just an update....my red belly friend will be coming home with me. she was dna tested and is a girl!! i read up on them and all juveniles have a little bit of red on them, the males with a little more, after two or three molts she will be grey and green. but thats ok :] I'm not sure of her name yet... any ideas??? im open to comments   I will put some more pictures up soon, she will be coming home in the next week or so, i get a bigger divider cage tommorrow for her and my sennie.
