These are just some cute pictures of Berto during a "Saturday Bath" (He only seems to enjoy them on Saturdays, if I try to give him a bath on any other day he runs around the cage and looks scared)

This is the best I could do while spraying water at him. The funniest part is when he puts his wings up and sways around to follow the water. I'll recruit someone to videotape it sometime.

The Crazy Never-Ending Disease Update

For those of you who don't read the cockatiel forum, Berto's had an unknown parasite for awhile now. We thought he was getting better, until I came home from a weekend trip and found him basically covered in his salivation/regurgitation stuff. (Don't worry, I didn't leave him home alone, my family took him out at least twice while I was away) We took him back to the vet, who thinks Berto has spirochetes (pronounced Spiro-Keets) Basically long story short, Berto's on MORE medicine. This medicine is really goopy and gross, so Berto is sort of turning pink around his face because my aim sucks.

Hopefully he gets better soon! And thanks to all of you who have been giving me encouraging words through this whole thing.
