So, I haven't updated in awhile. Berto caught a parasite of some kind, so as of present we have to give him injections AND another medication by mouth everyday for two weeks. He is not a happy camper.

But other than that, he's very lively and up to his usual antics.

Look at me! I'm a stuffed animal!

The other day I met my owner's older brother, he's in a wheelchair. This headrest thing is pretty creepy, so I'm just going to perch on it and act like nothing's wrong.

...But it is fun to chew on!

I've also discovered that his shoulder is a good preening spot

So, people say it's hard to find a good avian vet? Berto's trip to the vet was great! Our dog vet reccomended this amazing guy. Berto doesn't like him, but that's probably because the guy has to towel Berto to examine him and clipped his wings. (No more flying around the room for Berto!) If anyone is in need of a vet in the San Diego area, send me a message and I'll give you the info.

Berto's also in full molt at the moment, every time he's on my shoulder it looks like half of me was out in the snow. And so many pinfeathers!
