House-sitting fun!

Well Mike and I did our close friend a favour and house-sat for her from the 22nd till the 27th of May.  She has a big animal household: 1 dog, 1 cockatiel, 3 cats, and 3 horses - not to mention she also rents out her property for other horse owners, I think she has about 9 horses on her property including her own!  Good thing she had arranged for someone else to take care of the horses, I wouldn't have had a clue

We brought our little birdie with us, thinking he would get along fine with the resident 'tiel - so much for optimism.  Toby the 'tiel wanted nothing to do with our little 'horror' and for the most part stayed in his cage the entire time we were there.  Only Mike was able to get him to come out of his cage for a little while!  Here are a few pics of Speckles and Toby during our stay.
